throw punches and kicks. a tantrum fit

they cover up insanity until late at night
we're your friends. your sisters and brothers
but we're separate from the others
children of depression, children of the lost and found

wearing fake smiles, telling lies
while pain eats away at our insides
when night falls. monsters we become
fighting the pain, becoming numb
we cut arms we blow out brains
we're scary, we're insane
we carry the most blame. hold the most pain
